Daliendo Construction Website Development Proposal - Proposed Website Updates

Current site: www.daliendo.com

Proposed Website Updates:

Design Objective: The main objective of this website redesign is to modernize the site in order to ensure that the company’s online presence is a professional and impressive one. By making improvements to the site, we have the goal of using this platform as a tool that potential clients can use to learn more information about Daliendo Construction, look at examples of their work, and submit their information in the contact form to get in touch with the company and inquire about their services. The overall goal of this website rehaul is to generate more online leads and work to turn them into paying clients.

Creative Treatment: In redesigning the site, we hope to create a sleek visual online presence that is simple and showcases the company’s most impressive work. The theme of the site will focus on both design and build. Currently, the brand and logo colors are black and orange, which is reflected on the site. However, the shade of orange currently used and the choice of black negative space is harsh and makes the content hard to read. In a redesign, we will use a variation of these brand colors - however, we will dull them to make for a more calming and attractive site. Currently, the colors take away from what should be the main focus: the quality of the construction company’s work. In the redesign, we will use a color scheme that does not distract from the work but compliments it. We use the color scheme that follows:

Professional photography of the company’s work will be used throughout the site to showcase the different projects the company has taken on so that website visitors can get an idea of whether or not the company is a good match for their desired project. Additionally, in hopes to humanize the brand, we will add an about page with photos of the team and a blurb about the owners to allow potential customers to learn more about the “who” behind the company. One of the owners is a former firefighter, so we will also include updated logos on the site to reflect this.

We will also offer a portfolio gallery section of the site in which visitors can view the work from the company. This gallery page will offer professional and original images that will allow website visitors to see the style of the work the company does and the quality of the work. Under the “Services” site page, the three types of services the company offers (Residential, Redesign, and Commercial) will be listed with a list of the kind of works they complete within each focus area. There will also be a slideshow of images that showcase their work in these separate areas. A link will be provided to see more examples of their work, which will, in turn, lead to the portfolio/gallery area. There will also be a contact call to action button that will say “Inquire About Our Services” under each focus area. Visuals will be incredibly important on this site, as potential customers will want to see examples of the brand’s work in order to know that they are a reliable, credible, and trustworthy company to hire for upcoming projects. They can also get inspiration for their desired project.

Homepage: In the website rehaul, we will also redo the homepage. As of now, the homepage features images and sketches that are stagnant and of poor quality. In redeveloping the site, we will add a slideshow banner that will showcase images of the company’s best work. Currently, the homepage includes too much information in a small space, making the page appear crowded and cluttered. We will redo the homepage to ensure that it has a sleek, clean design while changing the negative space to a white background rather than a black one. The homepage will act as an introduction to the company and

their work while featuring clear call to action buttons such as “Find Out More” which will lead to the contact submission page and “View Our Work” which will lead to the gallery. As you continue scrolling, there will be brief mentions of the three separate kinds of projects they specialize in, including call to action buttons that will lead visitors to find out more about these areas of specialization - which will direct them to each separate project page. This will make it simple for potential clients to land on the homepage and find the information that they are looking for with ease.

Navigation: The website navigation bar will be the same across each page, horizontally, and will feature pages in the order that follows: Services, Portfolio, About, and Contact. Each of these pages will have a dropdown option that can be clicked on and accessed by directing the user to the matching section of the webpage.

Flowchart/Sitemap:

Thread Sample: Our Services > Residential (Page Example)

  • The image with the overlay text “turning dream homes into reality” will be a sideshow, changing automatically, featuring photos of their residential work

  • Under “Residential Services”, each item will be clickable and will lead to the matching gallery with a call to action that will lead to the contact submission form where clients can request these services.
